Learn about the programme
This programme is designed for children who have never read before, are just beginning to read, or are experiencing difficulties in understanding texts. From the first lessons, your child will be immersed in the language environment through reading. By the end of the course, your child will have expanded their vocabulary, learned to read and retell texts, become able to discuss and express their opinion on what they’ve read, and become able to engage in and maintain dialogue in English.
What will we do during the classes?
Get to know the letters
Your child will learn the alphabet, learn letter combinations, and practise the pronunciation of English sounds
Build vocabulary
Your child will acquire useful vocabulary and learn how to use it correctly
Master the basics of grammar
Your child will be introduced to structures and concepts such as ‘to be’; past, present, and future simple tense; and prepositions and conjunctions
Develop conscious reading
With your child, we will read and retell interesting texts and discuss what we’ve read
Learn to write in print letters
Your child will learn to write words and sentences without skipping letters
Improve listening and articulation skills
Child will learn to distinguish the sound composition of words, enhancing their own pronunciation
